SPROUTS CAFE
Sprouts Cafe is entirely student and volunteer run! Located in the basement of the LIFE building, Sprouts Cafe is open Monday-Thursday from 9am-4pm.
The Sprouts Cafe menu rotates weekly, but you can expect to find some of our staples like Carrot Lox , Seasonal Stews, Salads, Granola, baked goods and more.
We do not have to-go containers, but our volunteers will be happy to prepare your food in a container if you bring one!
Sprouts Cafe offers free meals for anybody who asks for it! We have a no-questions asked policy, if you or someone you know needs a delicious and nutritious meal, we’ve got you covered! Just order as normal and tell the volunteer helping you that you would like your meal to be free!
We also have free meal cards around the cafe space. You do not need a free meal card to get a free meal! But feel free to use one if you have it, just hand it to the volunteer after you order.

To find us from the Bike Kitchen or AMS Food Bank, keep walking down the hall away from the Nest to the far doors.
Please note the cafe is only open during UBC’s fall, winter, and spring sessions. Check our Instagram for opening and closing dates. Generally, if UBC classes are not in session, then we are not open!

Friday: Community Eats 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Saturday – Sunday + Summer: Closed
